Today Steve was too tired to see visitors when I went to visit. Can’t say that I blame him as the constant vomiting and variety of medication he is taking.
Mr. Crockett was able to quickly visit and bring some gifts from himself, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Gamma Rho and perhaps others? Good stuff!
Today Hatch and Bad Andy came to visit with Steve, and they brought some gifts. Hatch brought some spectrums with Steve on the front, some GoSteve shirts, a seat massager for Libby, and some candy for the nurses. Drew brought his mini-refridgerator
Same news as yesterday, Steve is still having some issues with keeping food down.
While we were there, a nurse came in and changed the dressing on the pin that is inserted into his tibia. Pretty interesting to see that upclose.
Steve’s parents will be back tonight sometime, so that will be good for Steve to have them back here.
Still unsure when the next batch of “bad” chemo will commence, but it looks to be over a week away still, so Steve should be ok to have some visitors for now. Just try to be aware if he looks to be really tired or not in the mood for company.
Now that the “bad” chemo ends, Steve is beginning to feel better. He is again able to carry on a conversation but is very tired and doesn’t have a ton of energy.
